At Furtah Preparatory School, we believe that art is for everyone. Our art program introduces students to a wide variety of mediums, showing that creativity goes far beyond pencil and paper. From drawing and painting to sewing, sculpture, and even digital art like stop-motion animation, students learn to explore, experiment, and express themselves through many forms of visual art.

Every grade level follows a similar structure, with lessons and projects adjusted to fit the skill set and developmental stage of each group. This structure ensures that the same artistic ideas and principles are being taught across all grade levels while keeping activities developmentally appropriate.

As students reach high school, they begin to take on more independent and skill-focused projects. Student-led projects encourage deeper exploration into personal artistic interests while still providing individualized guidance and mentorship. Every classroom becomes a studio, and every student has the opportunity to discover their creative voice in the art room.
