December 2000: Furtah Preparatory School is founded by a group of parents and named by them in honor of its first Headmaster.
January 2001: FPS opens with 17 students in an office building off Windy Hill Road and I-75. By the end of the term, enrollment is at 46.
August 2001: FPS opens in a rented facility near the South Marietta Parkway and I-75 with 65 students.
April 2002: FPS acquires a permanent campus through a consortium of its parents, grandparents and several outside donors.
August 2002: FPS begins it first year in its permanent camput on Highyway 92 near Wade Greed Road.
August 2002: FPS grows to 151 students and opens the doors to the new FPA Montessori School.

Aug 2006: Constistent Number of Students and opens the doors to the new Elemetary Montessor School. Mrs. Laura Riley joins us as Principal. Jr/Sr Beta Club is formed.

Talon Tribune (school Newspaper) printed its first edition.

Varsity Boys Basketball wins the GISA State Championships.

Aug 2007: Accepted as part of the SB10 System. Opening our doors with 170 students. HS Debate Team is formed. ROTC program is formed.

Montessori Program has grown. Boys Basketball Varsity wins Furtah Christmas Tournament.
