Mrs. Riley is beginning her 3rd year as principal at Furtah Preparatory School.

She was educated at Michigan State University & Mississippi Univ. for Women, earning degrees in Elementary Education and Education of the Gifted.

She later earned her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership at

Mississippi State University.

Mrs. Riley is beginning her third year as principal at Furtah Preparatory School. She was born into a teaching family. Not only were her mother, grandmother, and both her sisters teachers, her daughter and daughter-in-law are also educators. Due to a father in the Royal
Dutch Air Force, Mrs. Riley's family traveled the world. Her older sister was born in Indonesia, Mrs. Riley was born in the Netherlands, and only her younger sister was born in the United States. To carry on the international tradition, her daughter was born in Germany.

Mrs. Riley was educated at Michigan State University and Mississippi University for Women, earning degrees in Elementary Education and Education of the Gifted. She later earned her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership at Mississippi State University. She has taught elementary, middle and high school, as well as ABE and ESL to adults.
Mrs. Riley has two children and three grandchildren.
