Students are hand selected to participate in the production of the FPS Yearbook, the Phoenix. Using a computer based program to “scrapbook”, the history of the year at Furtah Prep is captured in pictures and text. Only those who show leadership and the ability to work with others collaboratively are chosen. Students who have the opportunity to work on the Yearbook will be exposed to organization, timelines, headlines, journalistic writing, and much more. They will have to display their ability to make decisions as a group, as well as determine the layout of the yearbook, and learn how to produce pieces on their own.
